To increase the font size of the information in these worksheets, click on "View" at the top of the screen you are in, select "Text Size," and then, click on the text size option that you would like to have appear on your screen. The information will print in this size, as well.

 

Personal Care through Task Breakdown

Text and Video Included: Task breakdown is a communication technique designed to help a patient or loved one accomplish an activity one step at a time. It is especially appropriate for people who have dementia. This module will provide you with task breakdown examples, as well as tips for you to consider as you adapt the task breakdown strategy to your unique situation. Text and Video Included: Falls are a real risk to older adults. This module will help you learn how to make your loved one's home environment safer.
